A proven performer at the track and conditions, I Love It will make her competitive return in the Bow Mistress Stakes and remains an outright $2.60 favourite in betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Posting five wins and as many minor through twenty career starts so far, I Love It resumed in 2016 for second in the Bow Mistress Stakes before returning to winning form in the Group 3 Vamos Stakes (1400m) at Launceston.

Undoubtedly producing a career-best effort when third in the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) on May 7th, the Artie Schiller mare failed to fire when twelfth in the Group 3 Proud Miss Stakes (1200m), and was also unable to make anything of an impact through two spring starts.

I Love It could very well receive the run of the race from barrier 2 and will be partnered by Stephen Baster.

Only two other runners at currently available at 2017 Bow Mistress Stakes odds of less-than $10; Ocean Embers and Lyuba currently sharing the second line at $2.90 odds.

Ocean Embers was a standout performer in spring and arguably offers punters the best value for money at her current Bow Mistress Stakes odds.

Winning a Caulfield minor over 1100m first-up on July 2nd, Ocean Embers ran a strong second in the Listed Lightning Stakes (1050m) before posting consecutive wins in the MRC Foundation Handicap (1100m) and Group 3 Ladbrokes Cockram Stakes (1200m).

Running fourth in the talent-rich Group 2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m), the Beneteau mare was unable to beat a single runner home in the Group 2 Salinger Stakes (1200m) on Derby Day and was returned to the paddock.

Sure to have taken plenty of benefit from a first-up run for eighth in the Listed Nudgee Quality (1200m) on New Year’s Eve, Ocean Embers will leave from barrier 6 with Jason Benbow in the saddle.

Lyuba is yet to contest a race at black type level, but has finished no worse than second through four starts this time and is primed for a smart transition.
