Nadeem Lass has been a strong and consistent performer for Robbie Griffiths through her entire racing career and has been confirmed in the 2016 Bow Mistress Stakes field.

Running sixth in last year’s edition of the Bow Mistress Stakes, Nadeem Lass progressed to third in each of the Group 3 Vamos Stakes (1400m) and Group 3 Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m) before returning to winning form in the Bendigo Gold Bracelet (1400m) on March 21st.

Running third in the Group 3 Proud Miss Stakes (1200m) in May, the daughter of Nadeem continued to race through the winter and into spring; placing fifth in both the Listed All Victorian Sprint Final (1200m) and Group 3 Bletchingly Stakes (1200m) most notably.

Having run on for third in the Tauto Handicap (1000m) first-up on January 16th, Nadeem Lass has been charged with overcoming the outside barrier but will be partnered by last-start hoop Matthew Allen.

Trainer David Brideoake has been pleased with the form of Our Harmony this time and has confirmed champion hoop Damien Oliver will take the rise on the mare in the 2016 Bow Mistress Stakes.

Posting five wins and four minors through only thirteen career starts so far, Our Harmony took plenty of benefit from her time in the paddock following a winter campaign and has resumed this time for third in the Red Tempo BM90 (1000m) and second in the Cube Finance BM90 (1200m) on January 23rd.

The daughter of Nadeem will leave from barrier 11 and should have no issue with the even 56.5kgs weighting in the 2016 Bow Mistress Stakes.

Six of the fifteen runners confirmed in the 2016 Bow Mistress Stakes field will contest the race first-up, including I Love It.

Posting a credible four wins and three minors through fourteen career starts so far, the Artie Schiller mare returned in spring for fifth in the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m); progressing to fourth in the Listed Alinghi Stakes (1100m) before ending her campaign sixth in the Group 3 Mumm Stakes (1100m).

Drawn ideally in barrier 4, I Love It will be partnered by Stephen Baster in Friday’s feature race.
